Replace Your Card
To replace a missing Geneva Library card, bring a photo ID with your current address and a $2 replacement fee per card to the Check In Desk.
Residents
To replace your Geneva Library card bring a current photo ID and another form of identification that verifies your current address.
The following documents containing your name and address will be accepted as verification:
Driver's license (if address is current, this is all you need)
Current utility bill
Current property bill
Printed check or current bank statement
Real estate papers or lease
Adult applicants must be present to receive or update library card. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their application.
Property Owners
Property owners may replace their library card with a photo ID and a current property tax bill.
Geneva Business Owners
Geneva business owners may replace their library card by bringing in a photo ID and one of the following to the Check In Desk:
Current business lease
Current business utility bill
Business checkbook
The card is good for one year from the date of issue.
Non-Residents
Non-residents of the Library District who reside within the Geneva School District may renew their card for a determined fee.
KEEP IT SAFE: Borrowers are responsible for all materials charged on their card. Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately to prevent unauthorized use.
